Friday Immigration Justice ActionsLights for Liberty at Polk County Jail this Friday, 7/12 7:30 pm 1985 NE 51st Pl, Des Moines. Lights for Liberty: A Vigil to End Human Detention Camps, will bring thousands of Americans to detention camps across the country, into the streets and into their own front yards, to protest the inhumane conditions faced by refugees. This will be a demonstration and a candlelight vigil. The organizers have reserved a section of the parking lot at the jail and are in the process of organizing ride shares to the event from the Capitol.
